Katherine Kitchen Project
Set in the heart of Katherine, Northern Territory, this kitchen renovation was all about honouring the home’s 25-year history while preparing it for the next 25.
Our clients’ one non-negotiable was keeping their existing floor tiles — a feature that runs throughout the home. Rather than seeing this as a limitation, we used the tiles as our design inspiration, creating a palette that complements their earthy tones and reflects the way our clients live.
Key features include a generous island bench designed for both function and connection, added bench space around the cooktop, an upright oven for easier use, and a handcrafted tile splashback that’s as beautiful as it is easy to clean. Brass accents tie it all together, echoing the golden hues of the stone benchtop for a timeless, cohesive finish.
